(VOVworld) - The Central Highlands Steering Committee has reviewed its performance in the first half of this year and plans until the year end.
Head of the committee, Minister of Public Security, To Lam, told the session on Saturday: “The Steering Committee should closely cooperate with ministries and provinces to promote growth, economic restructuring and raise people living standards. Social economic development should ensure national defense and security, afforestation, irrigation facilities with priorities given to key projects.”
Despite prolonged drought, the central highlands provinces have maintained a growth rate of 6% with significant increase in the number of new companies registered.
