(VOVworld) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has hailed the significance of the Central Internal Affairs Commission in the fight against corruption.

Speaking in a review meeting in Hanoi on Thursday, the Party leader agreed on the commission’s action plan for this year with major focus on corruption prevention at both central and local levels.
He urged the commission to continue its supervision of internal affairs, law and regulation appraisal as well as preparation for documents to be submitted at the 12^th National Party Congress on security and corruption issues.
