(VOVworld) – North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch was "a dangerous provocation and a serious threat, agreed by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and US President Donald Trump in a recent phone call, adding that all options were on the table regarding how to handle North Korea. Trump and Abe both agreed that China must do more to curb North Korea's nuclear and missile development.

The White House said in a statement following the phone call that the US would continue to strengthen its ability to deter and defend itself and its allies with the full range of its military capabilities.
