UN condemns North Korea ballistic missile launch and engine test
(VOVworld) –The UN Security Council on Thursday strongly condemned North Korea's latest ballistic missile launch and engine test as "grave" violations of UN sanctions.

Council members also expressed "serious concerns" over North Korea's "increasingly destabilizing behavior and flagrant and provocative defiance of the Security Council". Earlier, the US Department of State asked North Korea to avoid provocative acts which it said threaten regional stability. Wednesday's missile launch ended in failure but the North hailed Saturday's test of a new rocket engine.
