(VOV) – Vietnam Craft Village Exhibition Fair 2013 opened on Friday in Hue city, kicking off a series of activities of “The quintessence of Vietnamese crafts” Festival.

The event attracted more than 150 booths introducing traditional handicrafts and craft villages from cities and provinces nationwide. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Chief organizer, Vu Van Tam, said: "We aim to introduce handicraft products from traditional craft villages to promote tourism development. The fair not only honors and upholds the cultural value of handicraft products but also links handicraft villages with tourism".

The fair lasts from April 26^th to May 1^st.
