(VOVWORLD) - Thousands of overseas Vietnamese have registered to participate in the annual “Homeland Spring” program, a run-up to the Lunar New Year festival, this Wednesday in Hanoi.

The program, themed “Vietnam shines bright in the future”, is expected to attract a great number of overseas Vietnamese artists. It will include an incense offering ceremony and a carp releasing ritual in honor of the Kitchen Gods.
