(VOVworld) – Thua Thien Hue province on Tuesday held a ceremony to mark the late General Nguyen Chi Thanh’s 100^th birthday. Permanent member of the Party Secretariat Le Hong Anh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Communication and Education Commission Dinh The Huynh, and former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu attended the event.

Mr. Le Hong Anh said: “Nguyen Chi Thanh was a talented general and a strategist of the Vietnam People’s Army. His life and revolutionary career will forever be a shining example for us to follow.”
