Hung Kings' worship ritual

(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has announced their top 10 events and achievements for 2012. They include the UNESCO’s recognition of Hung Kings’ worship ritual as the world’s intangible cultural heritage, and Buddhist woodblocks in Vinh Nghiem pagoda as the world’s documentary heritage. Various activities to welcome Vietnam’s friendship years with Laos, Cambodia, the Republic of Korea and India, as well as cultural exchange programs in the border regions were held. Vietnam attracted nearly 7 million foreign visitors. 2012 was considered the year of cultural heritages with the UNESCO recognition of Hung Kings' worship rituals and Woodblocks in Vinh Nghiem pagoda.
