(VOVworld) – In an article published in ‘Nhan Dan’ newspaper on Thursday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping called on Vietnam and China to jointly open a bright future for the bilateral ties.

Vietnam and China have given each other mutual support in the construction of socialism.

They have established a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and many cooperative mechanisms like the Steering Committee for Bilateral Cooperation to boost mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas including economics and trade.

Through friendly consultation, Vietnam and China have addressed issues relating to land borders and the Tonkin Gulf, creating a firm foundation for stability, security, and economic development along their joint border.
