Top legislator presents Tet gifts to child cancer sufferers
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has asked the health sector to enhance support for all cancer patients, especially children.

Ms. Ngan made the appeal on Monday at the National Institute of Haematology - Central Blood Transfusion during a ceremony for patients to celebrate Tet or the lunar New Year festival. To mark the occasion, Ms. Ngan presented 100 gift sets to child patients who are receiving treatment at the Institute.
"I hope more similar programs will be held to bring hope and joy to patients with cancer, especially children. The Party and State have always given top priority to providing all citizens with the best possible healthcare services. The Party Central Committee has also issued a resolution on enhancing awareness and actions on improving treatment services for all patients, including those diagnosed with cancer", said Ms. Ngan.
