She expressed her delight that dignitaries in the diocese have maintained their solidarity, while adhering to the Party and State’s policies and laws, and engaging in patriotic emulation movements such as new-style rural area building, charity work, and poverty reduction.

"The Vietnam Catholic Church, Archbishops and the Chairman of Catholic Bishops Conference of Vietnam play a very important role in national construction and development. The Party and State believe that the Vietnam Catholic Church will further contribute  to Vietnam’s development and prosperity. I hope that bishops, priests and Catholic dignitaries will encourage Catholic followers to live the gospel of life and contribute to national development.", said Ms. Ngan at the meeting. 

Ms. Ngan also visited and presented gifts to some Catholic families in Thanh Hoa diocese.
