To achieve this goal, Tra Vinh province is urged to improve its management of the province’s spearhead products and industries while improving product output and quality.  Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan made the remarks at a working session with Tra Vinh’s provincial Fatherland Front’s Standing Committee on Monday. Nhan said: "As the new Constitution came into force in 2014, it’s important for Tra Vinh province to improve its function of supervision. This can be done by collecting people’s opinions every two or three months and make reports to the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee and its committees at all levels. Every member of the Fatherland Front is encouraged to get involved in fulfilling this task."

The same day, Chairman Nguyen Thien Nhan visited and presented gifts to a number of families of beneficiaries, people who have rendered great service to the nation, and monks. Some poor households and families of Agent Orange/ dioxin victims in Tra Vinh province’s Chau Thanh district were also given gifts on this occasion.
