(VOVworld) – An exchange to review the heroic tradition and victories of the Vietnam People’s Army was held on Tuesday in Hanoi, marking the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 25^th anniversary of the All People’s National Defense Festival.

The event was attended by war veterans, armed forces heroes, senior military officers, and soldiers. The participants agreed that the Party’s sound leadership and the courage of Vietnamese soldiers were the decisive factors that created the triumphant victories in the struggle for national independence. At the event, soldiers and officers expressed their pride at succeeding their predecessors and vowed to do their best to build a strong army for national defense in the new context.
