(VOVWORLD) - Activities were held across Vietnam to mark the 68th Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students.

On Tuesday, Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union organised a ceremony to celebrate the day and to honor outstanding students and pupils.
113 pupils who won prizes at national and local contests and innovation competitions were awarded the title “Pupils with Three Constructive Performances”.
102 students and 2 organizations were awarded the title “Students with Five Good Performances”.
Tran Thi Dieu Hanh, a student at Ho Chi Minh City’s Technology University, was one of the honorees.
She said: “This is a precious title for a student, encouraging me to do my best to achieve future goals. I’m very moved.”
The same day, Quang Nam held a Quang Nam students’ festival for innovative startups, where a club for innovative entrepreneurs at Quang Nam College of Economics and Technology made its debut. The club will support startups and connect student startup ideas with the business community.
A similar meeting was held by the Vietnam Students' Association of Vinh Long province where the “Students with Five Good Performances” title and the January Star Awards 2017 were presented.
