Tran Duc Minh wins Three-Cushion World Cup
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese billiard player Tran Duc Minh won the Three-Cushion World Cup for the first time in a dramatic victory over South Korean Kim Tae-jun.
Minh won 50-46 to become the 2024 champion of the Ho Chi Minh City Three-Cushion World Cup. He is the second Vietnamese winner after Tran Quyet Chien, who won in Ho Chi Minh City in 2018.
This year's World Billiards and Snookers Federation tournament gathered 149 players from 19 countries, including 20 players from host Vietnam. The Three-Cushion World Cup is an international tournament that has been held every year since 1986.
