Truong Quang Nghia named Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee
(VOVWORLD) -Head of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh said he hopes Truong Quang Nghia, the newly-appointed Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee, will continue to uphold the achievements made by his predecessors to build Da Nang into a dynamic and creative city with rapid and sustainable development.

At a ceremony to hand over the appointment decision on Saturday, Mr. Nghia called for the support of local leaders and people for him to accomplish the tasks. Mr. Truong Quang Nghia was born in 1958 in Cam Kim commune, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province. He was Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee from April 2008 to September 2010. The Politburo appointed him Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee for 2015-2020 tenure to replace Nguyen Xuan Anh, who was dismissed from his posts on Friday.
