(VOVworld) – Truong Sa island district in Khanh Hoa province is holding a number of activities to welcome the 12^th National Party Congress. These include contests on the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, cultural exchanges, and performances. Colonel Tran Van Thuan, political commissar of Truong Sa Dong island, said: “We hope that the Party Congress will be a success. We believe in the Party’s policies and guidelines.”

Deputy commander of Truong Sa 146 regiment Colonel Bui Dinh Duong said the Party Congress will decide major issues concerning national defense, construction, and marine development: “We believe in the leadership of the Party and hope it will present policies to consolidate national unity for development. As soldiers guarding Vietnam’s sovereignty, we are ready to contribute to the success of the Party Congress.”
