(VOVworld) – Officials, artists and people of Thua Thien Hue will visit Truong Sa (Spratly) islands from May 16 to 27. An art troupe of 10 artists will perform Hue folksongs for local soldiers and people. Phan Cong Tuyen, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Education and Communications, says: “It’s an honor for the artists to sing for soldiers in Truong Sa. They have prepared a program imbued with Hue tradition, including Hue music and songs in praise of the homeland and President Ho Chi Minh on his 123rd birth anniversary”.
