They include a Turk, an Iraqi, and a Syrian. Earlier, on March 17, Germany closed its embassy in Ankara, its consulate in Istanbul, and many schools in both cities after Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier warned of possible attacks.
Dutch consulate in Istanbul was also closed with all officials evacuated in fear of terror threats.
IS claimed responsibility for four of six bomb attacks in Turkey in the past eight months.
