(VOVWORLD) - Press conferences were held on Wednesday in Phu Tho and Nam Dinh province prior to the semi-final matches in men’s football scheduled for Thursday at the ongoing SEA Games 31.

Malaysia coach Brad Maloney praised the Vietnamese team and said Malaysian players will do their best in the upcoming game.
Vietnam coach Park Hang-seo said his team will secure victory if they are able to put up a solid defence and capitalise on oppoturnities.
In the group stage, Vietnam topped Group A and will face Malaysia, the Group B runner-up. The Vietnam-Malaysia match will kick off at 7pm on Thursday in Phu Tho province’s Viet Tri Stadium. The other semi-final match, between U23 Thailand and U23 Indonesia, will take place at Thien Truong Stadium in Nam Dinh earlier Thursday.
