European Union foreign ministers are meeting to discuss the 2015 deal regarding Iran's nuclear programme, as tensions further intensify between Tehran and the US.
In 2015, Iran signed a long-term deal called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action with the P5+1 group involving the UK, the US, Russia, France, China, and Germany.
Hunt also tweeted on Monday that he was heading to Brussels for urgent talks on how to reduce tensions with Iran. He said Iran’s recent actions have been profoundly destabilising, but the UK wants to reduce tensions with Iran, not raise them.
