(VOVworld) – On Thursday the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) handed over equipment for high-tech crime prevention, worth 52,000 USD, to the Vietnam Police.

At the ceremony, UK Ambassador to Vietnam Giles Lever and General Director of the Vietnam Police Phan Van Vinh applauded the fine cooperation between the NCA and the Vietnam Police.
They agreed on the need to step up cooperation in fighting crime in the current globalization era.
The two officials called for closer bilateral collaboration in trans-national crime and hi-tech crime to maintain social order and safety and ensure national security.
