This is a common point in the development strategies of the two countries.”
He praised Vietnam’s abundant source of trained human resources, especially a contingence of highly qualified engineers, who can meet all job requirements.
“From this perspective, the two countries are capable of complementing each other. I think the two need to start the cooperation in training and using high-quality human resources of the semiconductor industry,” according to Hoshino Mitsuaki.
In regards of Vietnam's ability to participate in Japan's semiconductor value chains, Hoshino Mitsuaki said that Vietnam can take advantage of the existing domestic semiconductor industry value chain as a launch pad to develop and expand to other related value chains to connect with other countries, including Japan.
“We hope to use and participate in Vietnam's semiconductor value chains and are considering the possibility of working with Vietnam to develop Japan's value chains,” Hoshino Mitsuaki noted.
