(VOVworld) – Legislation which will give UK Prime Minister Theresa May the right to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, the legal first step for leaving the EU, was passed by a vote of 498 to 114 in the House of Commons on Wednesday. The bill will now pass to the House of Lords, the UK’s upper house.
