British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's government is set to present a proposal to the House of Commons this week.

The actual cost of transporting illegal immigrants to Rwanda could reach 290,000 USD per person, according to information released by London’s Institute for Public Policy Research on Monday. This amount notably exceeds the cost of 70,000 USD per person initially estimated by Mr. Sunak's Government.

Following the UK’s enactment of a law in July that bars asylum to illegal immigrants arriving by sea, the UK government will submit a bill to the House of Commons this week to transfer the illegal immigrants to Rwanda. The cost will depend on the number of individuals relocated and the length of their stay.
