14 entities and individuals involved in ammunition and weapons production were specifically targeted, including Russia's Sverdlov arms factory, a Turkish company, three Chinese companies, and two entities in Belarus, along with electronics companies, and diamond and oil traders.

To date, the UK has imposed sanctions on a total of 2,000 individuals, companies, and groups involved in the “special military operation” that Russia is conducting in Ukraine.

US Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo said the US will impose sanctions on more than 500 targets, including parts of the Russian military industrial complex and companies in others countries which provide Russia the goods it needs to make weapons.
