UK webinar highlights post-pandemic investment opportunities in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The UK’s Asia Scotland Institute on Thursday held a webinar highlighting Vietnam’s achievements in fighting COVID-19 and post-pandemic business and investment opportunities in the country.

The webinar was hosted by Roddy Gow, the Institute’s founder and chairman, and the other lead speaker wasVietnamese Ambassador to the UK Tran Ngoc An.
Ambassador An emphasized that the success of Vietnam in dealing with COVID-19 has boosted Vietnam's image to international financiers who are looking for a stable and peaceful investment location alongside a safe political environment.

He added that the determination of the Government and the people, the commitment and transparency of policies, the consistent co-ordination from central to local levels, and the role of education and information contributed to Vietnam’s containment of the pandemic.
The webinar is one of the activities that the Embassy has coordinated with agencies and organizations in the UK to enhance co-operation between the two countries and overcome the negative impacts of COVID-19.
