Shmygal said on Twitter that Ukraine appointed Semen Kryvonos as director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, thereby completing a set of reforms required by the EU.
He said Ukraine has completed all seven EU recommendations, which demonstrates Kyiv’s determination to move on to the start of accession negotiations this year.
EU leaders accepted Ukraine as a candidate to join the bloc last June. The European Commission made seven recommendations, including anti-corruption, that Ukraine must meet in order to start accession negotiations.
