US announces 400 million USD in additional military aid to Ukraine
(VOVWORLD) - The United States announced on Friday a new military aid package of ammunition and other support for Ukraine worth 400 million USD.

This is the 33rd drawdown of US arms and equipment for Ukraine since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began a year ago.
The military assistance package includes more ammunition for US-provided HIMARS and howitzers, as well as ammunition, demolitions munitions and equipment, and other maintenance, training, and support.
Last week, the US announced additional security assistance for Ukraine worth over 2 billion USD under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. Ukraine asked the US to provide it with F-16 fighter jets, but the proposal was turned down.
