On the occasion of Ukraine’s National Flag Day, Mr. Poroshenko said Ukraine gained the opportunity to freely travel to Europe two and a half months ago and has carried out all necessary reforms.
The result of a referendum on Ukraine joining NATO released on Tuesday showed that 40% of Ukrainian respondents say they would vote for NATO membership, much higher than the 14% of supporters in 2013.
