(VOVworld) – The Ukrainian political crisis which has lasted more than 2 months abated on Saturday as protesters unblocked Hrushevskoho street in central Kiev. Nearly 1,000 protesters removed obstacles leading to Dynamo stadium and Eurosquare. However, a representative from the National Resistance, which unites Ukraine's three leading opposition parties, said protesters would not clear the street completely, just partially restore the traffic.
On Friday night, Sergei Sobolev, an MP of the opposition party, said they are ready to withdraw from the city hall and will not continue to block Hrushevskoho street in exchange for the government’s release of 234 detained protesters.
