On the same day, speaking to his counterpart Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin, US Secretary of State John Kerry said that concession of President Viktor Yanukovych to the protestors is not enough to solve the ongoing political crisis in this country.
Russia's outspoken Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin tweeted that Kerry's planned meetings, which were also expected to include Ukraine's pro-opposition pop star Ruslana, were a "circus".
