(VOVWORLD) - Countries need to overcome their differences to tackle global challenges, said UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres at a speech to mark United Nation Day on Tuesday.

He said that the world is facing many challenges such as widening conflicts and inequality, extreme weather and violence, and security threats – including nuclear weapons. Guterres added that we must achieve human rights and dignity for all people to build a peaceful, sustainable, and just world.
