(VOVworld)- UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday urged every nation to do more to address the threat of climate change at the opening ceremony of an international conference on climate change in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. Ban applauded the agreement on a joint action plan before 2015 to deal with global climate change, reduce greenhouse gases, and support sustainable development. The UN will hold a global summit on climate change in September at the UN headquarters in New York.The Abu Dhabi conference has attracted more than 1,000 delegates from UN member countries.
