(VOVworld) - The United Nations Security Council on Monday condemned a failed ballistic missile test by North Korea and urged the international community to look for a peaceful solution.

In a statement to the media, 15 members of the UN Security Council reiterated that Pyongyang’s latest move has violated its obligations, as written in the council’s resolutions. Council countries have pledged to seek political, diplomatic, and peaceful measures to address the issue and urged all parties to boost comprehensive solutions through dialogue.
