UN General Assembly to discuss latest developments in Syria
(VOVworld)-The United Nations' General Assembly will meet on Monday to discuss the Human Rights Council’s report on the situation in Syria as well as latest developments in this country. The UN General Assembly’s spokesperson Nihal Saad was stated in a report released on Friday.
In related news, at least 25 people were killed and 175 wounded in two bombs targeting security compounds in Syria's second city of Aleppo yesterday. The violence in Syria has escalated in recent days, especially in Homs, which has become a hot spot in the country. The Local Coordination Committee of the opposition party reported that about 127 people were killed in clashes across the country, 108 of them were from Homs. However, this figure has not been confirmed yet.
