(VOVWORLD) - China’s ambassador to the United Nations Liu Jieyi said on Monday that the UN Security Council will hold several discussions on Syria in July.

The discussions will focus on conflict-resolution measures, humanitarian aid, and use of chemical weapons.
On July 14, UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura will report on the results of the latest round of the Syrian negotiation in Geneva, Switzerland. On July 27, the UN Security Council will hold a monthly discussion on the humanitarian crisis in Syria.
