(VOVworld) - Deputy Chief Inspector Le Thi Thuy expressed her hope that the UNDP will provide more support for Vietnam’s anti-corruption efforts at a working session with Patrick Keuleers, a UNDP official within the framework of the 6th conference of Parties to the UN convention against corruption in Saint Peterburg, Russia.
Keuleers said the UNDP will soon ratify the fund to adjust tools and resources for anti-corruption analysis set up by the Republic of Korea’s Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission to match Vietnam’s situation.
This is part of a project to improve enforcement of the UN Convention against Corruption and the role of non-state subjects in combating corruption.
The Vietnamese delegation held working sessions with representatives of the Chinese delegation and the Secretariat of the Convention to discuss the draft review of China’s implementation of the convention.
