The CDC’s new ratings include 61 nations lowered from a “Level 4” rating that discourages all travel to a rating that okays travel by fully vaccinated individuals. Among the countries now rated “Level 3” are France, South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Spain and Italy.
An additional 50 countries and territories have been lowered from “Level 2” to “Level 1,” a CDC spokeswoman said. Countries ranked lowest for COVID-19 risks now include Singapore, Israel, South Korea, Iceland, Belize, and Albania.
