Trump thanked his supporters and called this a big victory. He called on the Republican Party and the US to unite, at the same time recalling some successes in his presidential term (2016-2020) and presenting some views on domestic and foreign policy.

He said that the Hamas- Israel and Russia-Ukraine conflicts and record high inflation in the US and loss of border security should not be allowed to happen. Trump pledged that, if re-elected, he will make America great again both domestically and internationally.

Trump won 14 of 15 states on Super Tuesday. His main rival, Nikki Haley, won in Vermont. The victory increased Trump’s total number of delegates to 1,015, much closer to the 1,215 delegates he needs to become the Republican candidate.

Nikki Haley later announced that she is withdrawing from the race.
