US 'hopeful' North Korea talks can continue
(VOVWORLD) - US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Friday the US is hopeful that denuclearization negotiations with North Korea will continue, hours after Pyongyang reportedly said it may quit talks.

North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui said Pyongyang is considering to suspend negotiations with the Trump administration over the North’s nuclear program. She said North Korea has no intention to yield to the US demands in any form, nor is it willing to engage in negotiations of this kind. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will soon make an official announcement on the country’s next moves, she added.
