(VOVworld) – US President Barack Obama arrived in Havana on Sunday, beginning a 3-day visit to Cuba. This is the first by a sitting US president since 1928 when President Calvin Coolidge visited Cuba in January, 1928, to address the sixth Pan-American Conference.

Cuban President Raul Castro hosted a formal reception for Obama, followed by a private meeting and a joint statement.
