Incumbent President Donald Trump of the Republican Party and former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden highlighted next steps after the November 3 election.
At the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Florida, Trump continued to defend his administration's and his personal anti-epidemic views. He condemned white supremacy, Antifa and radical left groups who are inciting destructive protests in many cities. He also protected the decision to nominate Amy Coney Barrett as a Supreme Court Judge and pushed through the nomination before the official election.
Trump said if he fails in the upcoming election, he will accept a peaceful transfer of power. But he insisted on an honest election and continued to express concerns about postal ballots.
Democratic candidate Joe Biden continued to criticize how the incumbent administration is using methods to prevent coronavirus epidemic efforts, Washington's tax break policies, or the approval of Barrett nomination.
Biden said if elected, he would immediately embark on addressing the division in the party.
