South Korean President Moon Jae-in said that was the message Mr. Trump sent to North Korean leader King Jong Un after they met at the G20 summit in Buenos Aires late last month. In remarks released Monday, President Moon said President Trump has a “very friendly view” of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and will make his wishes come true if he gives up his nuclear weapons. He also expressed optimism that Kim would visit Seoul soon, marking the first time a North Korean leader has ever done so and conveying a message to the world that he is ehonoring his commitment to denuclearize.
