US Secretary of State to visit 5 countries, including Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) -Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to North Korea, Japan, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Belgium between July 5-12, the US State Department announced on Monday.

The statement said Mr. Pompeo will visit Pyongyang from Thursday to Saturday to follow up the progress achieved during the summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un last month in Singapore.
Mr. Pompeo will visit Tokyo from Saturday to Sunday and visit Hanoi from Sunday to Monday. He will meet Japanese, South Korean, and Vietnamese leaders to discuss a complete, thorough, and verifiable North Korean denuclearization and other regional and bilateral issues.
