US Senate passes foreign aid package of 95 billion USD
(VOVWORLD) - With a 79-18 bipartisan vote, the US Senate on Tuesday approved a 95 billion USD aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and several other countries and territories.

61 billion USD will go to Ukraine, 13 billion to Israel, and 9 billion to humanitarian aid for Gaza, Sudan, and Haiti.
The bill includes a provision banning TikTok unless it severs ties with its Chinese parent company ByteDance.
The bill will now go to President Biden to be signed into law after 6 months of acrimonious debate between Democratic and Republican lawmakers.
