(VOVworld) – The US Department of State on Saturday announced that it will continue to allow Muslim people with eligible visa to enter the US. The decision came following a temporary nationwide block on President Donald Trump's ban on travelers from seven Muslim nations, made by a US judge in Seattle. The US Department of Homeland Security has also suspended all actions to implement the immigration order and will resume standard inspections of travelers as it did prior to the signing of the travel ban.

Mr Trump's order, which was signed a week ago, temporarily halted the US refugee program and imposed a 90-day suspension on people traveling from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Trump rejected the judge’s decision, called it “ridiculous” and announced to overturn it.
