US state of Virginia wants to enhance trade ties with Vietnam

(VOVworld) – US Virginia state governor has reiterated that Virginia wants to further cooperate with Vietnam to promote bilateral ties in economics, trade, and education. Terry McAuliffe made the remarks while receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Cuong at a recent meeting with Virginian businesses at the State Governor Palace. Participants discussed the Vietnamese relations with the US in general, and with the State of Virginia in particular. Both sides hailed the bilateral trade growth that reached nearly 30 billion USD in 2013 with agricultural cooperation increased more than 60% within 2 years.
