(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump on Friday temporarily lifted tariffs on over 400 Chinese products, while the deputy minister-level US-China trade consultation entered its 2nd day.

The US Trade Representative’s office said 437 Chinese products including steel, electronic equipment, pumpers, cargo lifters, and pet accessories, will be exempted from additional tax for 1 year. President Trump said talks were going well, though adding that he did not need a deal to happen before the 2020 presidential election.
