US-India 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue: Strengthened defense cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - The US Secretary of State, the US Secretary of Defense, India’s foreign minister, and India’s defense minister agreed that bilateral cooperation is needed to deal with shared challenges.

India and the US promised to work together to address global issues like maritime security and counterterrorism at the third annual US-India 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The four also discussed achieving peace in Afghanistan and finding a COVID-19 vaccine. The same day, the two US Secretaries met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
